This piece is one that I’ve been after for well over a year. To me this is everything that I love about old gold – it’s truly a watch with soul. Dating to 1980 this Rolex Ref. 16808 features a flawless matte black nipple dial that has aged to perfection. Hands are a perfect match to the patina on dial and complement the navy insert very well. Watch remains unpolished and H date code bracelet is tight. 11 links total. If you’ve been after a 16808 this one is definitely worth your consideration.
